Prepare a portfolio of your written works that will showcase your content writing skills. If you don’t have a professional website, you can put your past works in a Google Docs file and link to it from your LinkedIn account.
Writing content for the internet is different from writing in your local paper. Most of it is purposeful. You will always have a goal. That goal is usually to get your company more sales.
Aside from writing with minimal errors, you will also need a basic understanding of online marketing principles. An example of this would be Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO in content writing usually refers to adding keywords in your article (without compromising the readability) to improve its ranking in search engines.
Copywriting
Copywriting is one of the most common work-from-home skills listed on the FilipinoIncome.com job board. This writing style creates sales content. Your product may include e-commerce listings, affiliate marketing content, lead generation pages, squeeze pages, and sales emails. Amazon copywriting virtual assistants are always in high demand.
The copywriter’s goal is to create a copy that convinces the reader to do a specific action. You intend to make the reader buy something or sign up for a subscription with your writing.

2. Customer Support
Potential Starting Salary: $750-$1,500 per month*
As a customer support representative, you are part of the customer-facing side of the business. You accept calls, emails, or chats from current and potential customers. Your goal is to understand their concern and to provide a solution if possible.
Most of the time, you will be dealing with distressed callers. Being patient and having an established coping mechanism is required to last long in this career.
Voiced customer support jobs require that you already have the necessary home setup ready to accept calls. Most employers will only accept applicants who already have the hardware (computer and noise-canceling headset) and internet speed for the remote job.

3. Management

Many employers who successfully hire remote Filipino workers eventually look for more talents to build a team here. When there is a team, there is usually a need for a manager. Key performance indicators may include productivity targets, quality assurance targets, attendance, and employee retention.
Managers work with the team members to meet the individual and team productivity targets. Sometimes, the manager will also manage remote workers from other parts of the world.
You may need 1-3 years of management experience (preferably remote) for this job.
Warning: Remote workers are a different breed. They are not like the average Filipino worker who will accept bad treatment from the management. People can leave your company and get picked up by the competitor the very next day. If employee retention is a part of your KPI, make sure not to make the lives of your employees miserable.

4. Lead Generation Specialist

The lead generation team in a company is arguably the most important one because there would be no business without them. Lead generation specialists explore the internet for potential clients. They create a list of leads and contact them through cold calls or emails.
The company’s bottom line is dependent on the success of the lead generation team. A big company may limit the tasks of their lead generation specialists to list-building and let a separate sales team handle the first contact. A smaller company, however, may require the lead generation specialist to do both tasks.

5. Email Marketing

Email marketers are copywriters who put their skills into writing marketing emails. The idea is to convince the email recipients to buy a product, sign up for a service, or book an appointment. 6. Sales – Cold Call Specialists

At this point, you may be noticing a trend. Most remote jobs need you to sell. Here’s another one for you. Cold call specialists get a list from the lead generation team and contact the people or companies in these lists to encourage them to take the desired action.

A paid advertising specialist sets up the advertising campaign of the company, increases the likelihood of success of these campaigns, and reports the results back to the client. Paid ads specialists focus on their platforms of expertise (Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, or Google). The goal, as always, is to convert as many customers as possible while keeping the costs low.
